Reviews

Fantastic gastro pub experience. This is far more than a regular pub — it feels like a refined, modern gastro-pub with truly excellent food and a well-curated menu. Every dish was well executed and clearly above the standard expected from a hotel pub.
I visited on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere: great Brazilian music created a vibrant yet relaxed setting that made the evening stand out. A perfect combination of quality dining, great ambiance and a unique touch that you rarely find in Sydney pubs.
Highly recommended even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

Simple the best evening you can have in the Inner West. Fancy but not too fancy, great taste on dishes (very well curated).

Kudos to staff and service. Johnny (the manager) is super caring and a great guy to have a chat! Food recommendations:

Churrasco Chuesday (excellent Brazilian meat skewers), lobster nuggets and tuna tartare (you cannot miss this one!) .

It's just reopened and we booked for lunch on our anniversary. The food was fantastic. I had the prawns and my wife had the Burramundi. Both were delicious. The shoestring fries were great. We had a starter snack of pork rind and anchovy. Delicious.

The service was friendly but they had an event on and it seemed they were scrambling a little.

My only criticism was they have no grass fed steak. In my opinion it tastes better and is healthier because it has less fat.

The $6 schooner is perfect price. It's a nice space. We will definitely be back. We are locals and this is the perfect addition to the suburb.
